Free insurance readiness check
Would you pass your insurer’s questionnaire?
Cyber insurers have tightened up — they now demand proof of security basics before writing or renewing cover, and some check your domain themselves. Run the same external checks here first, before the underwriter does.
- · Email authentication — a common questionnaire line item
- · Website and SSL security
- · Breached logins linked to your domain
Why it matters
This is the form. Guessing on it can void your cover.
The questionnaire looks harmless — a page of yes/no boxes. But those answers become part of your policy, and a wrong “yes” on MFA or backups gives the insurer grounds to deny a claim after a breach.
The free scan covers what’s visible from outside. For the inside — MFA, backups, Essential Eight — see the full cyber insurance readiness page.

Common questions
Cyber insurance readiness, answered straight.
What do cyber insurers actually check?
Most Australian cyber insurance questionnaires ask about multi-factor authentication, tested backups, patching, email security and the Essential Eight basics. Answer 'yes' without evidence and a claim can be denied when you need it most.
How does this free check relate to the questionnaire?
This scan covers the externally visible parts — email authentication, website security and breach exposure — which insurers and their underwriters increasingly check themselves. It won't see inside your network, but it catches gaps that undermine a renewal.
Can a claim really be denied over the questionnaire?
Yes. If you declared MFA was on everywhere and it wasn't, the insurer can treat that as misrepresentation and refuse the claim. It's the nastiest possible time to find out.
What does the paid readiness check add?
The full Cyber Insurance Readiness Check assesses MFA, backups and the Essential Eight basics inside your systems, fixes the gaps, and hands you a one-page report mapped to what insurers ask — documented evidence for renewal.
