Why Forest Lake?

Forest Lake is practically next door to me. It's one of Brisbane's biggest master-planned suburbs, built around the lake itself, with the local shopping centre strip carrying the small-business load - clinics, dentists, allied health, cafes, real estate and personal services - plus a huge number of trades and home-based businesses working out of the surrounding streets. These are businesses that don't have an IT person and shouldn't need to hire one.

I'm based in Inala, less than ten minutes away, so Forest Lake is the closest thing I have to a home ground. If something breaks I can usually fix it remotely on the spot, and if it needs a site visit I can often be there the same morning.
